I love the new name, Mark! Very cheeky! I saw the blooms last weekend and of course, the weather got better this past weekend. Great photos! It to me to almost smell the flowers.
Thanks, Juliette! I try not to take myself too seriously. Happy to hear you were able to see the blossoms while you were here. Unfortunately, they don’t last very long.
I'm so glad you turned your camera on the people - it's quite incredible what goes on with the posing and their own image taking. What was with the trainer's on a stick??
Thanks, Lynn. Yes, the best part is seeing what the people get up to. I’m guessing the trainers were part of a fashion shoot. Whatever it was, it was rather bizarre.
How beautiful to have that and a lovely set of images Mark - particularly the first and that last one. Just as an aside, I'd love to see the resulting image by the guy hanging the trainers up in front of the blossom too...bizarre combination!
Thank you so much, Lin. I agree, the trainers photo shoot is very bizarre. Really not sure what was going on there but he was at it for quite some time trying out different angles.
Thanks, Marcello! I think I might have missed the biggest crowd, which was probably today. However, regardless of how big the crowd is, it’s always fun to see what the people are up to.
These are lovely! Well done.
Thanks, Søren! It’s always a nice feeling seeing the cherry blossoms come out. Winter is finally behind us and Summer is just around the corner.
Yup, in Toronto spring is 15 minutes on a Thursday, and then it gets HOT!
Haha! That pretty much sums it up 👍🏻

Wow, looks more like Tokyo! So busy with all these people. Loved looking at the photos and all the people! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks, Susanne. It is a beautiful sight to see, even with all the people.
Good name!
I love the shots of the people doing their selfies or portraits under the flowers.
Thank you so much, Kevin.
Nailed it, Mark! As good as being there. The full mood. Kudos for braving the crowd!
